Splatter Pink

Tamara Anderson has a marvelous and soulful voice. She actually moved me so much during one of her performances that I cried. She is a very skillful and knowledgeable vocalist and teacher.

Katie Agresta, NYC vocal coach to Grammy Award winning stars

Tamara is one of the most gifted, inspiring, and caring teachers, you'll ever encounter, she'll get the best out of you, and then make you even better! She's also an amazing singer in her own right and has become a wonderful friend to me as well. I highly recommend her whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your singing career, you won't be

From day 1, before Janus was ever signed, our management had little faith in my ear or pitch as a singer but believed that we had potential. They introduced me to Tamara with little hope... It took one lesson and Tamara quickly discovered that it wasn't my ears or my pitch that was broken it was my technique. She instantly saw I had spent years perfecting bad form and squeezing out high notes that I had no control over and had issues with resonance. Within 1 lesson she showed me how to breath, posture and prepare for a high note like I have never done before and, over time, it became easy. Mastering how to call upon that technique took years but I was hooked. From that point on I became a full time student. In terms of technique Tamara has taught me everything from how to breathe to support high notes consistently, open up my full vocal potential to how to properly warm up for a show (which I never used to do!!!)

Outside of Tamara's comprehensive knowledge of the human singing voice, what I found almost as compelling was her ability to sense and feel out my emotional boundaries and barriers. She has a sixth sense for where your head is and helped me understand that your state of mind is just as important as your technique. We did many exercises to help me overcome my mental and emotional barriers. Confidence is half the battle.

It's all from the heart!!! :)
