Tamara Anderson is a multi-dimensional voice teacher who’s had the privilege of sharing her Grammy Award Winning vocal techniques with all levels of performers.  Several of her students are signed artists on RCA, Sony, Atlantic, Jive, A&M and several Indie labels.  Tamara’s students include Dove Award winners and Grammy contenders.  She has taught finalists on American Idol, The Voice, America’s Got Talent, The Four, Rock Star and America’s Next Big Band.  Her students yearly grace the stages of Lollapalooza, Austin’s South by Southwest (SXSW) and Milwaukee’s Summerfest. 


Tamara's students embrace diversity and lead successful careers in creative worlds beyond the music business.  Her students can be seen in hit TV shows: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Nashville, Falling Skies, MTV and VH1 and motion pictures featured on 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers and Lionsgate; they also perform in the Chicago and Broadway theatre scene, including starring roles in Hamilton, Million Dollar Quartet, An American in Paris and Miss Saigon. 


She blends easy to comprehend vocal techniques for confident and healthy vocal performance.  This enables the performer to convey emotion, uniqueness and stage presence freely and powerfully without self-doubt and anxiety.  These methods empower all levels and desires of performers.  Tamara is well educated in numerous vocal pedagogies and has a comprehensive background which enables her to pinpoint the source of struggles and challenges that vocalists encounter so they can achieve triumph and vocal mastery.  Beginners to professionals will all benefit.


Tamara lives what she teaches. She is an award winning singer/songwriter, recording artist, producer, recording engineer (Criteria Studios, Miami….) and talent developer.  She is the founder of The Progressive Singer’s Workshop where she shares her empowering vocal and performance techniques in a supportive, non-judgmental and fun environment.  Tamara does voice-overs and jingles for notable brands such as Chevrolet, FedEx, McDonald’s and Mattel Toys, as well as cable television shows and much more.  Tamara has been a judge for several College Vocal Juries and talent competitions.  She is endorsed by WAMI (Wisconsin Area Music Industry), SWAMI (South West Area Music Industry), McDonald’s Corporation “Voice of McDonald’s”, Shure Microphones, Traditional Medicinal Teas and Entertainer’s Secret Throat Coat Spray.
