Thank you Tamara Anderson. I could have NEVER done this without you! The amazing improvement in my voice, confidence and knowledge and your connections in this crazy business are limitless. You are an inspiration to whom I will always be grateful!
Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, McDonald’s
I will always associate Tamara with one of the most successful people initiatives we have ever had at McDonald’s - the Voice of McDonald’s, a worldwide singing contest for all of our restaurant employees.Tamara was there for us from the start in 2006, helping to design the judging criteria and serving as a judge herself. Every two years, the contest culminates with 12 finalists joining us at our Worldwide Convention. We had more than 10,400 contestants compete for the $25,000 grand prize in 2010.
As a voice teacher, she helped these young people cope with the pressure, helping to change their lives both mentally and vocally, and making lifetime friendships in the process. I credit Tamara’s hard-working enthusiasm and dedication as a key ingredient to the Voice of McDonald’s growth and popularity. She showed true grace under pressure in helping these young singers find new depth to their talents as they participated in this event.
Tamara was a catalyst for the success of the program and it was my personal pleasure to get to know and work with her on this project.
Founder of Provocals. Vocal coach to: NSync, Backstreet Boys, Creed, Britney Spears, O Town and many more.
I worked with Tamara this year and how refreshing it was to see the passion and drive Tamara has with her clients. Her depth of knowledge and vocabulary is intense. Her vocal technique helped me during a recording session while struggling with the top end, within a few minutes I was cranking out high B-flats and Cs. I highly recommend spending some time with her!

Lead Singer, The Academy Is...
I began working with Tamara in order to get my voice fully prepared for the studio to record our new record. I would recommend any serious singer, with or without a voice teacher, to call Tamara.
Vice President of WAMI (Wisconsin. Area Music Industry)
Tamara Andersons workshops are always popular with our members. Her techniques receive rave reviews from vocalists and musicians, to aspiring performers and seasoned professionals. Results are seen during the session, and everyone takes home new skills they can use right away. I highly recommend Tamaras workshop to anyone who picks up a mic.
Columbia College Faculty
Thank you for turning me upside down and making me think about the voice from a whole different prospective. The teachers and students really got a lot out of The Progressive Singers Workshop Masters Classes you've taught at Columbia College.
NYC vocal coach to Grammy Award winning stars
Tamara Anderson has a marvelous and soulful voice. She actually moved me so much during one of her performances that I cried. She is a very skillful and knowledgeable vocalist and teacher.
Tamara is one of the most gifted, inspiring, and caring teachers, you'll ever encounter, she'll get the best out of you, and then make you even better! She's also an amazing singer in her own right and has become a wonderful friend to me as well. I highly recommend her whether you're a seasoned professional or just starting your singing career, you won't be disappointed.
From day 1, before Janus was ever signed, our management had little faith in my ear or pitch as a singer but believed that we had potential. They introduced me to Tamara with little hope... It took one lesson and Tamara quickly discovered that it wasn't my ears or my pitch that was broken it was my technique. She instantly saw I had spent years perfecting bad form and squeezing out high notes that I had no control over and had issues with resonance. Within 1 lesson she showed me how to breath, posture and prepare for a high note like I have never done before and, over time, it became easy. Mastering how to call upon that technique took years but I was hooked. From that point on I became a full time student. In terms of technique Tamara has taught me everything from how to breathe to support high notes consistently, open up my full vocal potential to how to properly warm up for a show (which I never used to do!!!)
Outside of Tamara's comprehensive knowledge of the human singing voice, what I found almost as compelling was her ability to sense and feel out my emotional boundaries and barriers. She has a sixth sense for where your head is and helped me understand that your state of mind is just as important as your technique. We did many exercises to help me overcome my mental and emotional barriers. Confidence is half the battle.
